The tomato processing production line represents a state-of-the-art
processing system that integrates multiple operations, focusing on
the complete tomato processing journey from initial raw material
treatment to final product packaging. This line is capable of
manufacturing various products like tomato paste, tomato sauce, and
tomato juice based on specific requirements. Its key
functionalities span essential stages such as raw material
screening, cleaning, crushing, pulping, concentration,
sterilization, and packaging, all working in harmony to ensure
consistent product quality.
Raw Material Preparation
This comprises two crucial components: screening and cleaning. A
vibrating screen effectively eliminates flawed tomatoes and
impurities, ensuring the raw material's quality. Simultaneously, a
high-pressure bubble cleaning machine equipped with brush rollers
efficiently cleanses the tomatoes' surfaces by removing mud,
pesticide residues, and unwanted particles. The design of flexible
conveying prevents harm to the tomato skins, establishing a
pristine base for subsequent processing steps.
Crushing and Pulping
Following the pretreatment phase, tomatoes are processed through a
spiral crusher, swiftly crushing them in a low-temperature setting
to retain the tomatoes' nutrients and flavor. Subsequently, a
double-stage pulping machine separates the tomato pulp from the
peel and seeds. The initial stage eliminates larger impurities,
while the second stage provides fine pulping to ensure the desired
consistency for diverse product variations.
Concentration and Sterilization
The tomato pulp undergoes concentration within a vacuum
concentration tank, where excess water is extracted in a
low-temperature vacuum environment (60-70°C). The solid content is
concentrated between 10% to 30% as per product specifications,
effectively preserving lycopene and other essential nutrients. The
concentrated pulp then proceeds to a tubular sterilizer, utilizing
rapid high-temperature sterilization (121°C instant sterilization)
to swiftly eradicate bacteria, mold, and other microorganisms,
while preventing flavor degradation associated with prolonged
high-temperature treatments.
Final Product Packaging
The sterilized tomato products (such as tomato paste and juice) are
meticulously dispensed into packaging containers (such as glass
bottles, cans, composite bags) through an aseptic filling system.
The entire filling process maintains an aseptic environment to
prevent secondary contamination. Subsequent steps like capping,
sealing, labeling, coding, and boxing complete the packaging
process. Some production lines incorporate metal detection and
weight detection systems to eliminate substandard products.
